World Refugee Day is a free family friendly festival and spectacular showcase of talented new American artists who have resettled in Baltimore. The festival features youth and adult performances and embraces the rich customs of Guinea, Syria, Myanmar, and the DR Congo. Free family art-making activities, face painting, global cuisine, craft vendors, networking, and workshops will be available at the Creative Alliance in Highlandtown, Baltimore’s most culturally-diverse neighborhood. World Refugee Day Baltimore is produced by Creative Alliance in partnership with International Rescue Committee and Baltimore City Community College Refugee Youth Project.
