Refugee Youth Project Coordinator Kursten Pickup appeared on Aaron Henkin’s program, “The Signal,” to talk about the upcoming Reginald F. Lewis Museum exhibition, “Interweaving Traditions: Bookbinding Across Cultures,” a collection of hand-bound art books created by RYP students to better express their personal stories and journeys through art.

The exhibition opened Wednesday, April 23 and was part of a thesis by Victoria Timpo, 2014 Master of Fine Arts candidate at the Maryland Institute College of Art who became interested in reconnecting to her Ghanaian heritage.
